Merry Christmas

Christmas is great for seeing family. The only hard part is making the long drives to see them. This year I had about a three and a half hour trip to make. Toward the end of the trip, I was beginning to have trouble with the long drive. About six miles south of Corning, we found this field loaded with migrating geese. I pulled over and grabbed my camera for a quick break. The birds were quite boring on the ground, so I honked my horn. That didn't work. So I started walking down the side of the field and more and more took off until they filled the sky. Perhaps it was mean to harass the birds a bit, but it woke me up for the rest of the trip home.

Little Rock Zoo

It had been awhile since I made a trip to the zoo, so I was happy to be invited for a little fun. I left my camera at home the last couple of times and really missed it, so I brought it with me this time. The last time I took my camera to a zoo was around 2002 when I still had a film camera. It was the Memphis Zoo. This is my first digital trip, and it was to the Little Rock Zoo. There isn't much more to say, so here are my favorites:
